North Point - Medical Office Assistant, Full time
LOCATION WILL BE IN WINSTON
SALEM NC
Following is a summary of the major job processes of this job.
Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned
below. Specific activities may change from time to time: Assist with patient
check in and out and updating patient demographics and insurance information.
Perform and document vitals on patient to include: height, weight, blood
pressure, and temperature. Interview patients to identify current medical
needs and relevant patient history. Ensure patient chart is complete. Complete
patient call backs in a timely and courteous matter as director by provider.
Perform clinical lab duties Handles and collects urine and other fluids for
analysis. Perform Occupational drug screens and BAT'S (Breath Alcohol Test).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. General medical knowledge
and medical terminology acquired through formal education or on the job training
required. CPR certification. Work experience: Medical office experience
preferred. Equivalent years of work experience may be considered in lieu of
certification. Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Organizational skills,
problem solving and critical thinking skills. Must be able to function as
part of a team. Must be able to interact with individuals of all cultures
and levels of authority. Ability to successfully complete generic and
department specific skills and competency testing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT;
Light Work - Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects,
including the human body, weighing 11-20 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 10
pounds frequently, and/or a negligible amount of weight constantly (Constantly:
activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time). Physical demand
requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight
lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1)
when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it
requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or
leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace
entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the
weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of
maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be
and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted

North Point - Licensed Practical Nurse, Full time 8a - 5p
THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED IN WINSTON SALEM, NC.
Following is a summary of the major job processes of this job. Other
duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.
Specific activities may change from time to time: Provides illness care.
Perform and document necessary preliminary exam needs on patient to include:
height, weight, blood pressure, and temperature. Ensure patient chart is
complete. Interview patient to identify current medical needs and relevant
patient history. Assist with examinations, treatments, special tests and
procedures. Administers medication as directed by the physician. Perform
clinical lab duties. Venipunctures/capillary punctures. Specimen
collection/preparation/testing. Label Specimens. Other lab functions as
requested. Administer Immunizations/Injections: Review immunization record
and potential allergic reactions. Identify and review side effects and
treatment. Administration of immunizations. Administration of IVs.
Management of Patient Contact. Code nursing visits, lab requests and procedures
for billing. Verify and update patient data. Knowledge of growth and development
of individuals, life stages. Triage calls. Make patient referrals. Complete
physician orders. Collection of data for general patient assessment.
Reinforces patient education under the direction of the physician. Identify risk
factors and chronic health problems. Report individual data to patient. Teach
patient/family self care management. Customer satisfaction Uses excellent
customer/patient satisfaction skills. Qualifications The following
qualifications are the minimum necessary to adequately perform this job.
However, any equivalent combination of experience, education and training which
provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities would be acceptable,
subject to any legal and/or regulatory requirements. High school diploma or
equivalent required. A graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
Current LPN license in North Carolina. CPR certification. One year of
experience in a physician practice environment preferred. Workers Comp and
Occupational medicine experience a plus. Ability to successfully complete
generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.

Greensboro - Urgent Care/Family Medicine
This 3-physician, 4 physician assistant urgent care
facility is looking for an additional physician to met growing demand. The
center is open 12 hours a day weekdays and 6-8 hours on weekends. Full-time,
part-time and PRN positions are available. Candidates must be Board
