Patient Services Coordinator III, Part time 20 hours/week
LOCATION WILL BE IN WINSTON SALEM
NC
Floater position responsible for patient check-in, patient check-out
and medical records in a busy Cardiology practice. Duties will include checking
patients in; checking patients out, updating patient information as needed,
calling in referrals as needed; printing encounter forms; making new patient
charts as needed and preparing charts for next day's appointments and answering
phone and taking messages. Other duties as assigned. High school diploma or
equivalent required. Previous front desk experience in a medical office setting
preferred. Specialty office experience preferred. Previous appointment
scheduling and telephone experience required. Medical Manager experience
preferred. Knowledge of CPT & ICD-9 Coding preferred. Must have excellent
customer service skills and be a team player. Must demonstrate and practice
excellent customer service and communication skills and like working with the
public in a fast-paced environment. Must be a team player and be detail
oriented. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work.
PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENT; Sedentary Work - lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise
moving objects, including the human body, weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally
(Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a
negligible amount of weight frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists
from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time). Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time,

Clinical

Registered Nurse, Full time 8:30a - 5p Monday - Friday
THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED
IN WINSTON-SALEM, NC.
Responsibilities include patient work-up, vital
signs, BP, and history on patients. Assisting with procedures, treadmills,
stress echos, Nuclear chemical/treadmill stress testing. Calling physicians,
patients and prescriptions, calling patients with lab and test results. Start
IVs. Strong EKG skills preferred. High school graduate or equivalent. RN
currently licensed in the state of NC. Graduate of an accredited nursing
program. Previous office cardiology experience or CCU/ER experience required.
Ability to work with little supervision. Must be a team player and have
excellent customer service.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT; Light Work -
Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, including the
human body, weighing 11-20 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds
frequently, and/or a negligible amount of weight constantly (Constantly:
activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time). Physical demand
requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight
lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1)
when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it
requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or
leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace

Licensed Practical Nurse, Part time 30 hours/week; 9a - 3:30p Monday - Friday
THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED
IN WINSTON-SALEM, NC.
LPN or CMA. Prior cardiology experience preferred.
Responsibilities include pre-certing all necessary non-invasive and procedural
appointments scheduled at the office and hospital. Prior knowledge of insurance
requirements a plus. Scheduling patients for testing and developing
working relationships with other practices. One year of experience in a
physician practice environment preferred. High school graduate or equivalent.
Current CMA certification required from AAMA or AMT and a graduate of an
accredited Certified Medical Assistant program or graduate of an accredited
nursing program and LPN currently licensed in the state of NC. Ability to work

Supervisor Nursing II, Full time; 8:30a - 5p Monday - Friday
LOCATION WILL BE IN WINSTON SALEM NC
Provide
leadership to clinical staff, collaborating with providers, practice management
and other clinical support staff to facilitate day to day operational patient
care processes for a busy Cardiology practice. Provides hands-on assistance and
support to clinical staff as needed to facilitate workflow. Assists in interview
and selection process of clinical staff and provides orientation and ongoing
training; monitors, validates and documents clinical competencies; provides
ongoing and annual formal performance feedback for clinical staff. Participates
in management meetings with medical director, providers, practice manager,
clerical supervisor as requested. Oversees and implements all compliance
regulations and requirements as mandated by JCAHO, OSHA, FMG/FMC, NC State, etc.
High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
RN currently licensed in the state of NC. RN or BSN (preferred) with minimum of
3 years supervisory/leadership experience preferably in cardiology clinic
setting. Cardiology experience required.

Cardiology - Heart Failure Director
Our 16-physician cardiology group is looking for an
additional invasive non-invasive cardiologist to join our well-established
practice as the Director of the Heart Failure Program at Forsyth Medical Center.
Primary responsibilities for the Director include managing heart failure
patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings and promoting the growth
and referral base of the Program in the community. This established Heart
Failure Program is staffed with a Nurse Practitioner and a Heart Failure
cardiologist. The Program offers the ability to participate in exercise testing,
research protocols and advanced therapies. Candidates must be Board Certified or
Board Eligible. Fellowship training or extensive Heart Failure experience is
