Flu Clinics for 2009
|
We have depleted our supply of the adult seasonal flu vaccine. Therefore, the adult flu clinic on November 14th has been cancelled.
However, we have received a limited supply of the pediatric H1N1 (Swine Flu) vaccine and will offer it at our pediatric clinic that is still scheduled for November 14th.

Please call your Primary Care Physician's receptionist to leave your name and telephone number. We will call you to schedule an appointment for you to receive the seasonal flu shot once our supply arrives.
Pediatric patients
The pediatric flu clinic will be held on November 14th as planned, until supply has been depleted. We currently have seasonal and H1N1 flu injection vaccine for children ages 6 months to 35 months and also have seasonal and H1N1 flu mist for those patients who are healthy and ages 2 years old and above. If your child has asthma, decreased kidney function or diabetes, they cannot receive the flu mist. If you are uncertain as to whether your child will qualify for the flu mist, please contact our pediatric department at 336-718-1002 for further clarification.
Swine Flu Vaccine
As stated above, we have received a limited supply of the H1N1 (Swine Flu) for pediatric patients. For more information on availablity of the adult doses, call the Winston-Salem Health Care Patient Information Line at 336-718-1030.
We will update and communicate our plan to administer the H1N1 vaccine when the vaccine becomes available to us.
